Hi , i am a 34 year old male fit non somker, for the past 5 months i have veen having CONTINOUS shortness of breath and severe chest pain on the left side of my chest behind the sternum like burning and stinging , head pressure and numbess  also people tell me i look pale and not active as before.
I have been to the ER 3 times blood work ekg , streess cardio, montior, echocardiogram x ray and pulmonary funtion test and all came normal.
My question does anxiety or disorder causes continous sob and numbess and sever chest pain left side , i know when i called the er last time it was more sever my throat locked i could not breath but the ekg showed normal.

Is this a disorder or could it be another disease and how to do you heal it besdies medicine, because i can not go up the stairs like before i am short of breath or swim like before or even eat ina restaurant i get hyperventilated and can not catch my breath and turn blue then yawn a lot and leave quickly.

IS this familiar to you. What do i have

Thank you

Answer
Hi Mark,

Well that is good news that doctors cannot find anything wrong, because that would indicate that it is psychological

'If that is the case it is true that an anxiety disorder can affect the autonomic nervous system. Please read:

Anxiety and the Sympathetic Nervous System at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/anxiety_SNS.html

which will explain this. Going on a Hypoglycemic diet will resolve the problem in most cases.
