Question I've been taking paxil cr (12.5mg) for about a month because of
panic disorder. I haven't drank any alcohol since I've been on
the medicine and I never had any problems with alcohol abuse,
but I do like to drink in moderation. I was wondering if it is safe
to have a couple drinks while on the paxil.
Thank you
Answer This is a question that should be discussed with your doctor You could also ask the pharmacist. There is an interaction between Paxil (Paroxetine) and alcohol, it can increase the dizziness and drowsiness.
If you are interested in a non-drugb treatment of anxiety attacks, please read:
"Beating Anxiety" at our web site.
