Paranormal Phenomena/Lights

Question
Hi,

I am 46 years old. For the past 20 years or so when I go under a street light in my car or out running at night or early morning, the light will either turn on or off right as I am below it, and then switch back to on or off aster I pass. The same thing happens many times if I pull up to or walk into a store. Another time in Ecuador I was describing the phenomena to my friends and we turned a corner at the top of a hill...and the power lines started to crackle and pop and sparks flew and for several blocks everything went dark.
Talk about strange! I know that street lights are set to turn on and off at certain times of the morning and evening, but it has happened to me hundreds of times. Any ideas? Thank you.

Answer
Some do flicker, not because of any paranormal thing but just because they're old or something. I've seen it too. So I really can't say.

Now whether or not you are some conduit for energies that the wires pick up, I don't know either. I personally doubt it. But who can be sure with these things?

I hope this helps.
