Expert: Evelyn Petersen - 11/3/2009
Question my daughter is in kindegarten and told me that one of her classmates tried to kiss her on the mouth and tried to kiss one of her friends on the mouth and didnt like that he did that. i dont know what i should do. i didnt know if i should talk to her teacher or if this is just a normal thing that kids do. how should i handle this situation
Answer No Jessica, this is NOT normal and yes you need to tell the teacher about it. In addition, give your daughter some words to say whwen this happens in order to stop it. "NO I do not like this you must stop right now. Kissing is only for my family members" and then she should leave the areas. Call the teacher asap for an appointment. Evelyn
