Question QUESTION: My parrot started vomitting so i took it immediatley to the vet.
I just want to know is he going to die from crop infection?
the doctor says so far his fine, we took him in time?your urgent response pls?

ANSWER: Your question just got to me - tell me more about what you're seeing when he vomits.
Is this a head pumping motion and then delivery of partially digested food, or is it a head shaking back and forth with a flinging of thick, sticky substance that ends up everywhere, including on the bird?
What did the doctor test for, if anything?

Answer Brazil nuts, cashews, almonds are good choices. Be sure they are NOT raw, but roasted to help be sure there's no chance of bacteria of any kind; also be sure there is absolutely NO salt or anything else added.
