You are here:

Parrots/blue and gold macaw

hes only a couple yrs old but he seems cold, his feathers are fluffed, seems to be a lighter weight than usual, any idea what could be wrong?
or what i could do for him?

-- Is your bird still acting 'off' ?   Have you been getting regular weights on him and if so, what were his last few?

What is his regular food?  A pellet food or seed blend?

How do his droppings look?    Is he easily handled and if so, what sort of scent comes from his mouth?  Is it pretty odorless or is there a really bad smell?  Sour?  Like bread dough?
