I have 2 blue and golds ages 15 and 18. Both are female. My 15 yr. old (Moe/Maurene) has a cronic nasil alergy condition going on as well and awhile back my vet instructed me to use 1 ML of a mixture of 6 MLS flaxseed or safflower oil to 24 MLS corn oil once a day in a food that they will eat all of. moe prefers it in her peanut butter. This has proven to be very effective in controlling her alergies that use to be a very annoying almost constant sound not to mention how you worry about her breathing. Ask your Vet about this. I don't want to assume that your bird has the same kind of condition but it has worked very well for our Moe that we give it to buddy Leigh as well. Hope this helps!
