I have a little green cheek as well. She absolutely LOVES raisins. She does the same thing though. Chews it up and just plays with it but eventually she eats it. Same with pineapple and papaya.

She really loves V8 Splash too.

Have fun discovering your new friend's taste buds!

I am the proud father of 29 different species of animal, including a baby green cheek.

I agree with the advice given save the advice that greens will really enjoy pomegranets. They will have a hay day picking at the seeds and making a mess. Also don't worry about things like strawberry, raspberry, blueberries and blackberries their seeds are not harmful. Do your research, cross reference  several  sources and question what you suspect is incorrect. This is what a good pet owner does. Also try using cheerios  as a training  aid. It a healthy treat, low in fat and they love them. I've had "Tucker" home for almost a week and already he is comfortable with sitting on my shoulder and step up, step down. All thanks to a childrens cereal. Most important.. .patience.

Have fun.
