Hi, Derrik.  Does your bird wear a leg band?  If so, the leg band may show the year of birth.  Otherwise, contact the previous owner of the bird and ask if they know the age.  Otherwise, parrot age is very hard to determine if not known.

Please, if you think your bird should be seen by a Certified Avian Vet or an Exotic Animal Vet, then take your bird in to be seen without hesitation. Some things that seem to be a minor problem are NOT minor with birds.
