Question Help! I need inspiration/ideas for my son's 16th birthday. He would like to invite around 10-14 teens, most likely majority guys. He thought limo, dinner, movie. I am thinking anything different. Birthday is end of January, and we live at the beach. Cold right now.

I always feel that a party is for having fun and enjoyment. A celebration ... so why NOT get at least CLOSE to what he wants?
You didn't say what the problem was with the party he wants. Accordingly, I am unable to offer other sensible suggestions.
Except this:
Get your son and perhaps a couple of friends around and discuss!
They know best what they want and you know best what is possible. So ... share sensible time and chat, throw in and throw out ideas so you both learn about each others' parameters and therefore together come up with solutions.
