I am not an expert in children or teen parties. There are hundreds of sites that specialize in that information if you google "kids parties" you will find an amazing amount of bright ideas. We do have a page on our site that leads to al the different kid's party themes, however. http://www.partyplansplus.com/themes.htm
Not for those seeking information about party/event planning as a career. That information is found on the internet under "event planning careers" or at our site www.partyplansplus.com/started.htm

Question QUESTION: We are hosting a 60th bday party - 6:30 pm - w/ appetizers and desserts for 50 adults. How much beer and wine do we need? What types of wine? Also, we have plenty of liquor/mixes left over from a wedding -- so not an issue.
ANSWER: Dear Michele:
That is a tough question not knowing the guest list and their tastes, etc. Only you know who drinks what and how much. My standard suggestion is to go to your local liquor store and ask the manager to help you decide. Perhaps you can take a guest count with ages to give him some help.
As for the types...that depends upon your budget.
I hope that has been helpful, I know the liquor expert will be your answer.
Best of luck, have a great party.

QUESTION: HI Patty-
I'm fine w/ the liquor. Problem is, I don't know the tastes of the people coming-- this is for my mother in law. 25 will be ages 50-65; 25 will be ages 20-40.
I have no idea who drinks beer or wine. Or the types of wine to buy. Any general guidelines you might have?
Answer As I suggested, check with your local liquor store manager who can give you an idea of what your guests might drink, just from his experience. I am not an expert in the beverage amounts as a liquor store manager would be.
