Subject: centerpiece for round tables

Question
QUESTION: I'm looking for an inexpensive idea for a centerpiece related to fashion..something cute and different , not flowers.  The models will be wearing some of the new spring fashion ..professional, casual and dressy for a group of ladies that are representatives for a group called Executive Women International.  Thanks for any help.

ANSWER: Is this just ONE centre piece for one table or needed in multip;es for perhaps 30 dinner tables?

It makes a massive difference to the ideas that can be used and duplicated or simply made as a one off.

Or is it a room centre piece and not on a table at all?

How large?

Look forward to your reply ...

QUESTION: There will be 8 72" round tables.

Answer
Hi

With so little info this is hard ... and I would bet that any ideas would meet with disapproval. What make sthis so is that a spring show is so different in various parts of the world and in different spring conditions and with various cultures.

Fo me the key would be in the clothing itself.

I would start with a glass container (fish bowl or glass cube or similar) and fill with a variety of local items. I've seen great versions with half limes, colored stones, colored sands......

On top I'd consider a fashion item ie shoe, or glove, or Easter Bonnet, or bag. Whether these are real or representations I'd have to see by looking at the show items and getting inspired.

Then, use different fabrics swathed around to tie it all together ... these of course matching the garments in the show.

Each table should be different and could perhaps be named for the table plan with garment names or designers .....

You didn't say whether you are spotlighting each table of whether candles will be incorporated so I didn't include this element. They would however, provide a great starting point if included.

Hope this at least sparks some thought ....
