Question Hello,
Well i've never had a birthday party apart from ones when I was younger because I have always been away. I live in the UK, up north! I am turning 19 this July and would love to have a small get together with my friends.
I don't want to spend too much and have not thort of a budget yet.
I would like to do something a bit different, my ideas that I have had where, a murder mystery night, party bus, barge party. I want something that will be enjoyable, fun, exciting and something to remeber.
In addition I would like to give my guests a little something (maybe i could buy in bulk, thats personalised)
I would be really greatful for any help.

You say "a bit different". But as you've had NO parties .... it WILL be different just having one!
All your ideas seem potentially good .... but you know the success of these will depend on one common thing: the guests! It's people that make parties!
Before buying anything in bulk, I'd decuide on the theme and make the gift related.
OK ... to help you more ... HOW MANY guests are you thinking of?
All female or a mix? Where "Up North" will it be?
I have a few thoughts but need to know some basics first.
