Question
I am Chairman of hosting a 3 day event for our Maltese dog fanciers. I would like to do it in a theme about Georgia. Can you give me suggestions of doing something special for a group over 200 and if you had any good thoughts for the theme other than "Gone With the Wind" ?
Thank you so much for your help.

Answer
I imagine you have heard them all but I will try to come up with something creative...some ideas.

"Bone Appetite y'all!"  A festive event with a focus on Southern Cooking and Hospitality.

"The Paws That Refresh! A tribute to Coca Cola," the home being in Georgia.  All manner of Coke memorabalia that you can probably get from the factory there, would make a fabulous decor. http://www.thecoca-colacompany.com/heritage/chronicle_birth_refreshing_idea.html

"The Peachiest Pets: Maltese Sweet and Fuzzy" That one is a stretch but it would afford some great foods and the color and fruit is a great theme.

I hope the ideas above give you a jumpstart in your brainstorming--maybe even your theme.

Let me know what you decide.  I am a former Maltese owner and still have a few in my "family"...I would love to have information on the event.
