I am not an expert in children or teen parties. There are hundreds of sites that specialize in that information if you google "kids parties" you will find an amazing amount of bright ideas. We do have a page on our site that leads to al the different kid's party themes, however. http://www.partyplansplus.com/themes.htm
Not for those seeking information about party/event planning as a career. That information is found on the internet under "event planning careers" or at our site www.partyplansplus.com/started.htm

Question I am in charge of planning a ladies golf tournament and need ideas on what to serve for a lunch after golf. Temps are suppose to be in the mid to upper 80's and quite a hilly course so they will be hungry. How do you please all these women? I am expecting about 30 - 35. I had thought of some sort of sandwich bar where they can build their own sandwich with some specialty breads and meats and cheeses, and some salads or maybe some sort of pasta dish and a salad. Need to keep the budget at about $6.00 - $7.00 per person. Any ideas????
Answer Elayne:
I would keep everything really cool, frosty, chilled and all those words that will be very appealing to your hot golf ladies. The salads are usually quite cost effective. Fresh fruits, vegetables and cold cuts are fine, too. All served in the most beautiful way possible in your budget. Presentation doesn't have to be expensive.
The sandwich bar sounds very good, but I think after comparing costs, a beautiful pasta salad will be filling and cost less. Add to it some fresh fruit or ambrosia type salad, rolls or crackers, and a sweet treat and you are set.
Pour tall glasses of water with lemon and a touch of fresh mint for a very refreshing and attractive beverage.
I hope this has been helpful for your menu decision-making.
Speaking of cool, tho. Have you heard about the Cleavage Cooler? It was invented by a woman golfer who wanted to stay cool out on the course--in the desert. Check them out at http://www.cleavagecoolers.com I know she sells a lot to golf luncheons as tee prizes, etc. The hottest thing for body cooling.
