Question
I am planning a 70th birthday party for my mother. I would like some good ideas on decorating and some fun games to play to liven it up. I was thinking about having a gambling theme. What do you think? I will be having it in two weeks so I need some answers quick.

It sounds like you already have a pretty fair plan – the important thing about any party is that people enjoy themselves, so doing things they are comfortable with is fine – if gambling is for them, then go for it. You can do this at any level – at the top end you can get companies to organise a casino type event for you, at the lower levels you simply need to set out some tables with the various games and arrange to have people who know the games run these tables
