I am not an expert in children or teen parties. There are hundreds of sites that specialize in that information if you google "kids parties" you will find an amazing amount of bright ideas. We do have a page on our site that leads to al the different kid's party themes, however. http://www.partyplansplus.com/themes.htm
Not for those seeking information about party/event planning as a career. That information is found on the internet under "event planning careers" or at our site www.partyplansplus.com/started.htm

Question My twin boys are turning 11 in 2 weeks ,I am having them a "Camouflage" theme party. I am in California and it has been raining the last 2 weekends, I am worried that it may rain. I am planning on renting a Jumper for the backyard. My budget can't afford renting tarps for "just in case", and I don't know what I would do with all the kids in my house if it rains!
Answer Leanne:
Couple of options come to me.
1. Call upon your friends, neighbors, church, school or workmates for the loan of tarps, tents, canopies, etc. to keep the guests dry for various parts of the party, like eating, games, etc. This should cut your expenses and serve as a Plan B.
2. If rain seems to be a serious threat, organize your garage or carport for your party scene and conduct the activities other than the bouncer concession inside it.
Kids that age are adventurous and happy to go with the flow. Sometimes the "action" or survival can be the thing they remember the most. You can provide garbage bag ponchos for the wild warfare survival.
Have a great time and remember, plan B has been famous to be the most memorable.
