Party Planning - Girls night in

Question
I am having a girls night in at my house for the wives of the guys my husband works with.  We knid of know each other, but I want to get to know them better, hence the reason for the party.  it's very casual.  I am at a loss for wording for the invitation.  can you help?
thanks

Answer
Sounds like it could be fun.  In our experience, we've found that mixing new groups of women together can be a challenge.  While we love spending time with our close friends, we aren't always very welcoming to newcomers.  To overcome this potential challenge, we suggest adding some type of activity to give your gathering a purpose and help break the ice.

Pick up some facial masks at the drug store or invite a local Mary Kay rep and call it a spa night.  Are you into playing cards?  Call it a ladies poker night.  Have everyone bring their favorite bottle of wine and have a wine tasting.  Host a book swap - everyone brings a few of the books from their personal libraries and trades.

These are just a few ideas to help get you started.  Once you add the activity, it'll be easy to come up with a name for the event.

Salut!
