I am not an expert in children or teen parties. There are hundreds of sites that specialize in that information if you google "kids parties" you will find an amazing amount of bright ideas. We do have a page on our site that leads to al the different kid's party themes, however. http://www.partyplansplus.com/themes.htm
Not for those seeking information about party/event planning as a career. That information is found on the internet under "event planning careers" or at our site www.partyplansplus.com/started.htm

Question My daughter will be graduating in June and leaving for army boot camp in July. I would like to celebrate both occasions but not sure if a party should be given for both or party for one and dinner for the other.
Answer Dear Retha:
I think it would be entirely appropriate and far less complicated if you would combine the celebrations into one party. It will definitely cut down on your expense of time and money and for sure your stress.
Make it clear to your guests that you are celebrating these two events and do so with your decor and details. A blend of mortar board cap, tassels and gown with camouflage items could be a fun way to decorate your dining and buffet tables, atmosphere and lighten the effect.
I actually think your guests would be excited to attend such an event--rather than two very similar ones.
I wish you great luck with your plan and invite you to send along any further questions you might have.
