Party Planning - Invite Wording for Birthday for Two

Expert: Wendy Legendre - 7/6/2009

Question
Hi Wendy-
I am stumped on how to word an invite for a birthday for our two children. Kody will be 8 and Karly will be 4. We are having the party at our home from 11 AM-2 PM. There will be a carnival theme complete with face painting and a bouncy house along with some other carnival games and prizes. Lunch and cake will be included. Any ideas? Wording or a poem would be great!
Thanks much!
Jaime

Answer
You are invited to come celebrate
As Karly turns 4 and Kody turns 8

There'll be painting of faces, a bouncy house too
And games with cool prizes from 11 till 2

Our home will turn into a fun carnival
We're sure if you come that you'll have a ball

So come one, come all and don't you be late
Or you'll miss the fun and the sweet birthday cake
