Question We are having our son's 5th birthday party at Motley's Pumpkin Patch. Saturday,October 10, 2009 at 9:30am. Would love help with creative wording for the invitation. The pumpkin patch offers: hayride, pig races, a small petting zoo area, hay stack with tunnel. We will have cupcakes, pumpkin pie and hire an individual to do face painting. Please help. Answer My expertise with parties is with providing the entertainment and similar - but I'd do the invitation myself using a pumpkin picture as the background, ensure that the parents know what sort of clothes should be worn (it rather sounds as though smart party clothes may NOT be the best plan with the hay tunnel etc). The importance of the invitation is to make it clear what is expected - the enjoyment of the day can be the suprise element.
