Question
QUESTION: Hi I'm combining my older son's 5th birthday (family party) and my new baby's baptism. I'm looking for wording for the invitation as well as some appropriate ideas for decorations. Its for 2 boys...so far the only thing i could come up with was something about double the fun!!! that is why I'm turning to you cause I don't want it to come across tacky.

ANSWER: Wow!  Sounds like a fun day.  Were you looking for general wording or a poem?  I would need a little more info in order to accomplish a full invitation verse, but I'm up for the challenge.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: I would really like a poem of some sort. It is planned for November 1st 2009 and like I said it is a combined family birthday party for my soon to be 5 year old (Christian) and a baptism for our 3 month old (Colin). I have absolutely no ideas for a theme and decorations either. Any input would be much appreciated. I'm looking for classy...classic and tasteful. Christian is having a kiddie party where he will have your usual super hero theme and kiddie games. This party is for family and close friends I want it to be special for Colin's baptism however I don't want to over shadow Christian's day either...I know that is a lot to take in....thanks again for your help.   -Jennifer

Answer
Hi Jennifer!

My apologies for the wait, but this was a toughie.  Every time I had an idea, I didn't have enough info to back it up, so going with the information I had available this is was what I was able to come up with.  I hope that it will work for your party.

A double celebration is shortly on the way
And we'd like to invite you to share our special day
Our Colin will be baptised but that is not the end
Our Christian's also turning 5 and hopes that you'll attend
His super hero party with loads of fun and cheer
Please let us know that you can come November 1st this year
