Experience As the owner of The Party Fairy, I have personally conducted more than 600 birthday parties for children on a paid basis - and did this free of charge for years before I decided to trun it into a business. All told, I have probably conducted more than 750 parties.
Organizations None are relevant.:) And don't worry; nothing odd. Just church and school organizations.
Publications New York Times regional newspapers chain (I was an employee for several years and worked at various newspapers during my 20-year journalism career) I also worked at many smaller newspapers throughout Alabama
Education/Credentials I was a journalism major many, many years ago - shortly after the world was created. :) Although a journalistic background is not particularly relevant to the business of children's party planning, a communications background could prove useful in answering questions from the public.
Awards and Honors Hmmm....
The only ones possibly relevant here are several Associated Press newswriting awards
Past/Present Clients No one of national note or significance (yet!) because my clients are all pretty much under 9 years old! But to their parents, of course, my little clients are all shining stars! :)
Question Hi again,
The Minnie Mouse invite wording for my daughters you did for me was a really big hit thank you. So I have another question for you about my son's 1st Birthday invite wording. Jack's birthday is Christmas day (12/25). So we are having his party early b/c having a 1st birthday party near Christmas is really hard for guests to attend b/c of all the holiday parties, shopping etc... So we are going to celebrate early and have his birthday party Nov. 14th and we are having a cowboy/western theme at our house. So I was hoping for some catchy or rhyming wording for his invite....any thoughts?
Thanks in advanced
Answer Well, it practically HAS to be a "How the West Was ONE" theme, doesn't it? LOL
I don't suppose we could be lucky enough to have your last name be West, could we? No, I thought not....But it could still be a cute theme for Jack! Here's my first thought:
HOW THE WEST WAS ONE
Head 'em up and move 'em out
And give a great big cowboy shout
Our little Jack is turning one
And we're celebrating with some Wild West fun
So giddy up, all, and come this November
For a special day we'll long remember!
And -- this news just in by Pony Express;
There's one little thing we should confess...
Our cowpoke was really born Christmas Day
But we're celebrating early in a cowboy way!
Come be a part of all the fun
And see how the wild, wild west is ONE!

Hope this helps you --and I'm glad you liked the Minnie Mouse wording before.
