Question hello, well him planning on having a party for me and some of my friends and family its going to be about 20 to 30 people..and not everyone knows everyone.. Its a going away party for me and him having the party in my house. I'm leaving on October 15. so, can you give me some great ideas so that the party wont have any boring seconds?? thank you.
Answer A great party starts with a great theme. Why not start with your future destination, and make that a centerpiece of your party.
As for mixing and mingling your guest list, consider putting them to work. Assuming you'll want to take your memories with you, gather the items you'll need to create a scrapbook of the place you're leaving. Ask each guest to create a page for you. They can write a shared memory, an inside joke, or something else that will make you laugh. Be sure to have them leave room for pictures and don't forget to take lots of them at your party.
