Question
I would love to have a formal theme birthday since I was never able to attend prom, or any other formal event. I am just unsure of what sort of games and such would be for a formal party, and I not sure if anyone else would enjoy it like i would...

Answer
Hi Paula!

There is a great prom murder mystery that you could try. It's called "A Killer Reunion".  It requires the guests to dress in formalwear and the game lasts for hours.  It is one of the best murder mystery games I've ever seen and includes everything from invitations to ideas for activities, decorations, and food to include in your party.  You can get more info on it at http://www.diva-girl-parties-and-stuff.com/valentine-murder-mystery-party.html

Set up the party to be an actual prom, hold a dance, have finger foods and fancy beverages or punches... the game is already taken care of if you go with a murder mystery.

If the guests you are inviting all attended the same school as you, you could even throw in a trivia competition based on the history of your school and events that occured while you were all in attendance.
