Subject: 40th Birthday invitation wording help

Question
Hi.  I'm having a 40th birthday party, and was looking for some unique, funny wording (rhymes sound good!) for the invitation.  We are having it at a place called the Blue Moon, with a band called South Bound Band playing.  I'm providing hor'devoures, but there is a cash bar.  Any wording ideas? Thanks!

Not a poet but I have some ideas:
1)Write a long list of all relevant words and phrases
2) I CAN'T do this fro you because you told me SO little (ie I don't know your location, surname, the party date, kind of people invited, what you do) etc etc etc
3) Them take the lyrics to the song 'Blue Moon' (see below) and rewrite them substituting some of your phrases.

Blue Moon Lyrics

Blue Moon
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

Blue Moon
You know just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone I really could care for

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked to the Moon it turned to gold

Blue Moon
Now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked the Moon had turned to gold

Blue moon
Now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

-------------------------

For example:

Your presence is therefore requested
On the [date] or so I've been told
Please come and love and humor me
Because now I'm 40 years old!

Blue moon
I hope I won't be alone
With ice cream and a tart
Without friends of my own

Hope this works for you .....
