Question Hi Sherri, I'm having my first birthday party in my life, and getting really excited! (my 21st bd is a year from now, but I started thinking about it! lol!) I'm wondering how I can start planning my birthday party. I live in San francisco, and I would like to rent a place indoor, do you know any place like that? Guest would be about 50 or less. Also, is it appropriate to charge people to come to a birthday party?
Thanks for your time!
Pauline
Answer Pauline!!! I don't think you should charge. If you want to do it at a restaurant and have people pay their own way--then ask a friend to host it for you and have her send out the invitations so you don't look like you're cheap!!!! Think about something different and fun to keep everyone busy. We recently did a Rock and Bowl 21st that was sensational and not expensive at all! Guests not only got to "rock" but we included a bowling tournament with fun gag gift prizes, etc.
