Question
Hi -- we are planning my daughter's swwet 16 party. We want to do a theme with black & white but are stuck on a theme. At first we thought of classic black & white movies but see a lot of "Hollywood" themed parties out there. We want to be more original than that. Can you make any suggestions for us? Thanks

The B&W theme is a great idea and I would keep it at just that. Don't narrow it any further but allow the creative 16 year olds to interpret how they wish. that way, some may reflect 30s movies, others chess, some 2 Tone Music, or a newspaper, a zebra, a road crossing, a pierrot, scotch ....... who knows. That'll be the fun.
