Hey! My name's Amanda. I'm having my 14th birthday party in about a month and a half, and I really need some ideas! I want to invite about 8 people, nothing fancy. It will be at my house (which is medium sized.. not big and fancy but not small and junky either) and we are going to cook out. I am inviting boys and girls. I am mostly friends with older teens though, most are 15 or 16. I dont know how to through this and not have everyone just sitting there looking at eachother the whole time. My mom said Twister is out since there are gonna be guys involved, so there goes that marvelous idea :-) but I dont really blame her. It just means I need ideas! Also, I am inviting the guy I like. He invited me to go to a Valentines Banquet with him and we have kinda told eachother that we like eachother, but not flat out said it but made jokes about it and stuff. Most of the people I am friends with are not friends with him (not enemies just not friends) should I invite a couple of his friends too even though I dont really know them all that well? I know them I'm just not good buddies with them. I just seriously need some help lol thank you so much! BYE!

I've got a great idea for you, Amanda.  Why not a scavenger hunt based on rock and roll or hip hop?  Basically, I guess I'm suggestion music.  Or a video scavenger hunt?  For not much money, you can rent video cameras (or have your friends bring their own).  Then divide everyone into teams and give them things to do and/or search for.  Like make a pyramid and find someone not on the team to film it...

Then, sit back and watch and laugh yourselves STUPID.
