Question I'm currently planning my 13th birthday party, which is in February. The restrictions are that it can't be at home, we can't rent a hall, and it can't be at home. My parents suggested bowling or roller-skating, but I don't want millions of little kids running around. I want an intimate party; a party that will kinda be like the first step to the teen age years. That's why I don't want to be surroned by lots of kids I don't know. I want to have dancing at my party with a club theme. I also want to want to keep the budget low. Please help!

Answer Hello, Laurie. Your question shows you have a great deal of maturity, in expressing your wants and not-wants. But your parents still have primary responsibilty for your parties.
So I think you should get them into the act. You'll find that they're pretty smart and they'll admire you for asking.
