My aunt encountered a lump on the lower portion of the breasts.When she went for a test it was found that there were 2 lumps of cm each.The diagnosis said that there were lymph nodes.After which she went for an Fnac test the diagnosis which are as follows:
1.Suspension Ductal Carcinoma.
2.Smears are shown.
3.Vrious size poorly cohesive irregular clusters of large atypical cells against a haemorrhagic and lipidious background with fragments.These cells have higher N-e ratio with enlarged pleomorphic nuclei with irregular chromatin and o-I nucleoli and variable amount of cytoplasm occasional binucleate cells are seen.
Please tell me is this an indication of Cancer.If you will reply i will be very grateful to you.

The report indicates that cells seen are atypical cells. These cells are neither normal not clear cut cancer cells. However this raises suspicion for cancer. A repeat FNA or needle biopsy is required to rule out cancer. If repeat FNA is not possible an excision of lump can be done. Please talk with your doctor for further course of action.
