Question Dear Neha
I used a syringe which was used by someone intramuscularly.
Will intramuscular injection cause blood borne disease?
Will needle hit blood vessels during intramuscular injection?
will muscles have blood vessels inside it?
please help me?
I am worring about it?
Answer Hi Rinku:
One should never share any needles. There is always a risk of infection as the needle is no longer sterile. and of course blood borne pathogens can be transferred if the first person had any specific pathogen.
You may or may not get any infection dependent on whether the person who first used the needle was healthy or not
