Pathology/Abnormal bloodwork

My bloodwork results have been abnormal for aprox 5 months. The following are all high: WBC, RBC, platelets, eosinophils absolute, immature granulocytes absolute, neutrophils absolute, basophils absolute. As I mentioned these results have remained high for 5 months. I have been told the results are somewhat high but not significantly high. I have not had any trauma or infections recently . Can you help me understand what the bloodwork results might indicate?

Thank you

Hi Sheri

It depends how high the counts are. Mild to moderate elevation is seen in infections, high eosinophil count could indicate allergy or parasitic infection.

There are many more causes. Please have the counts repeated and reviewed. If you are otherwise healthy they should revert to normal.

If counts increase further evaluation to ascertain the cause will be needed.
