Question IN the stool examination occult blood is positive.
what are the necessary things to be taken care.
Why it is positive, is that we need to change the diet.
Currently Milk rice,dal..adding little bit as tha what we eat normally.
Answer well it doesnt seem to be diet related.
it just means that there is something that has caused some microscopic blood loss and it wasnt seen as red stools.
it is commonly due to infections like dysentery and infestations like worms. rarely unusual causes like polyps etc may be there.
recheck stool test after 2 weeks.
visit a doc to confirm dysentery and if yes, she may need antibiotic course as your doctor may advice.
