Question Hi
I am deeply concerned about my two year old son. He has been experiencing frequent erections, various times of the day and he touches himself a lot. When I ask him whats wrong, why is he touching himself there, he says that it hurts. Should I be concerned or is this normal?
Answer Dear Brisy:
It is hard to determine whether a two year old is complaining of actual pain or a sensation.
It would be best to have him seen by his doctor. Erections in little boys are normal but at the time before they urinate. If they are occurring very frequently and he truly has pain, it is not normal.
