Dear Dr,
My son is 15 days old. He was 3.3kg when born. He is active but sleeps only 7-9hrs a day is it OK??? Is it advisable to give Hovite RD drops as some Doctors are advising me not to give and some are advising to give? Am confused.. So kindly tell me whether i should give him the drops?????

Hi, Sumesh,

These are vitamin drops and are safe.  If you are breastfeeding or if he is small (he isn't) then use them.  If he is formula fed, no need for additional vitamins.  

The sleep is fine and probably normal for him.
