Question Doc- Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
My son is going to be 6 this month. He is well advanced in school and has been said by his teacher. He got all good marks on his report card.
He comes from a VERY close family. He has one brother who is going to be 4. Wife and I are marreid and all live together.
My son is vert spolied and gets alot from us. During the day he stays with his grandmother. Today his grandmother said he was out of control. Not the first time with her. He said things like you are not my mother, I am going to beat you up, etc. He told me today that he has bad dreams about monsters, and two kids that picked on him at school. He says it still upsets him even though it has been 3 weeks since he is out of school.
We are not sure if we should call his ped. doctor and go from there. I thought you could lead me in the right direction.
Thanks...Eric
Answer well, he shurely needs counselling. but better in this format.
if he is not having any violent antisocial tendencies and screaming and throwing tantrums. a patient way helps approaching these cases.
what you need to say to him is a fixed 5 lines.. that involve one line of praise, 2 lines of what a good boy is and 2 lines of how he will be a good boy. in adition brainwash him with nice stories and fairy tales told at bedtime or as videos , each day. the evil words and thoughts are washed by consistant persistance of good thoughts and stories over the time.
if all tried as above, you will surely see a good change in 2 weeks.
