Question
Hello doctor . My son has been having loose stools for three days .. After the analysis the doctor prescribed  oflox 100 for him .. He is 2 years old .. I am giving him 3 ml from tonight.  Am worried because not too many good things are said about this medicine .. After his first dosage he has started getting more loose stools

Answer
Hi Sadia,

I rarely use this medicine for loose motions. However, your doctor is a better judge as he has seen your kid. Trust him. If any doubt, talk to him and clear your doubts.

Whenever results are not as good as expected, it is always better to talk to your doctor first rather than rushing for second opinion.

Best wishes,
