Dear Doctor,
MY son Age 2 months has suffered with Diarrhea. History is that, On Birth he was quite fine and used formula Milk Morinaga BF-1. After 12 days of birth, we gave him green tea ( 2 onz) with few drops of honey for cough. After this, he started loose motion 5 - 7 times a day. Doctor change formula milk as Morinaga NL-33 (lactose free)which he used 3 weeks and his stool become semi formed. But we again did a mistake by giving green tea and honey for cough which again starts loose motion 5 times a day. Now doctor gave him following medicines:-

Biflor Sache - 5 days
Pedialyte / ORS
Addjust Syp

But his motion still persists 3 times a day. What should we do right now. And also advise whether we can give him cow milk at this stage of age.

Hi Aslam,

Babies at this age NORMALLY pass loose stools. We don't give any treatment unless baby is otherwise lethargic,/ dull/ ick looking/ not passing urine frequently etc.

Adding cow's mild is not advisable at all.

Best wishes,
