Pediatrics/red finger tips

My daughter just developed the same thing overnight. We were at the cottage and she did not touch anything hot. The only unusual thing might be that she was playing PingPong in the basement, and it's a bit moldy down there and there were a few mouse droppings on the PingPong table. She did not directly touch the droppings but I wonder if it's something like that. She has had hand, foot and mouth disease before and never had the finger pad red marks.

Both my children have this red finger tips and my son also has red on the bottoms of his feet. They both had this last summer which the doctor diagnosed as Hand Foot and Mouth for which there was no treatment required. I don't know where they got it from and both developed the red fingers on the same day.

This is happening to my daughter.  She is five and starting Kindergarten.  It started happening day two of her first week of kindergarten camp.  It lessened over the weekend and not again day two of her second week and they are back to red and shiny looking.  Cleaning products perhaps?  I really want to know what this is!
