Pediatrics - feeding infants water

Expert: Dr. Frederick Blount - 12/14/2005

Question
Why all of a sudden is it not ok yo give a infant water?

Answer
I was not aware that infants should not be given water. It is essential that they get so much liquid and water is a good way to do it. It may be that your municipal water supply is not perfect but if that is not the case I would get the baby to drink water as much as he/she will accept.
