Question
is "Pentecost" the anointing? the reason I'm asking is; the bible says that "when the day of Pentecost was (fully come) then those who were in the house were filled with the holy ghost then they begin to speak in other tongues. My next question is which comes first? the anointing or the holy ghost? i think the anointing comes first then the holy ghost am i right?

Answer
When a person is filled with the Holy Spirit, it is at that point they are anointed. A person cannot be anointed without the Holy Spirit. It's like trying to get wet without water. Jesus was anointed when He was filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:38)

In respect to "Pentecost" this was a Jewish festival. It just so happens the Holy Spirit was poured out at Pentecost.

I trust this answers your question.
