Subject: App Eng: "Traffic Light Signal" Button Disabled

Question
Hi Ashram Beachoo,
Greetings!!

I have installed peoplesoft in my system Tools 8.48 and product 9.00.

When I log into App Designer and start developing some App Engine program I find that "Traffic Light Signal" button is disabled.
After saving it I expect the "Traffic Light Signal" button to be enabled. But it is not happening, means still the button is disabled so I'm not able to execute AE program in 2-tier mode!

It will be a great help if you can suggest some solution.

Thanks,
S.R.Sreenivas.

Answer
A few things to check:
1. You must be logged on in 2-tier for the traffic light to be enabled.
2. The active view must not be in any step or action.
3. Ensure that you have the app engine locked if Change Control is being used.
4. Try saving, closing and then re-opening the app engine.
