Peoplesoft/PeopleSoft Workflow Email Notifications
We are using Exchange 2010 and PeopleSoft v8.9, Tools 8.49. The PeopleSoft workflow is sending email notifications to Outlook to a few people who should not receive these pending /recommended leave notifications. The Outlook mailbox is a generic self service mailbox. Any thoughts on this?
My understanding on Question:
PeopleSoft workflow is sending email notifications to few people who are not supposed to receive emails.
It might be due to incorrect PeopleCode logic. Workflow emails will be triggered basing on business rules defined in peoplecode
Please verify Rules/routings/roles that generte the email notifications
Please try below options
1) Enable PeopleCode Trace for the problem
2) Identify trigger & See logic behind workflow event peoplecode
3) Or if you are using Business Process/Activity definitions, Please see Roleuser by query mapped to the field
