Subject: Journal lines of one journal are posted to other

Question
Hi Ash,
we have a a JE wherein the Journal lines of one journal are posted to other Journal? Could you please guide us?

Answer
Not sure why this would happen. Journal IDs tie the header and line information together. This could be caused by some sort of data corruption, depending on how the journals were originally entered into the system. Try replicating the issue and querying the JRNL_HEADER and JRNL_LN before and after posting.
