Perl & CGI - making forms work with fasthost

Expert: Marty Landman - 3/27/2009

Question
any idea how to make forms and scripts work on fasthosts in UK they say you need a -f paramater in the initialisation of the script .

Is there specific requirements in code of the form

Answer
Lee,

Maybe I'm misinterpreting this, but if you look here

http://littlelink.webtrouble.com/?qwSz

there is an explanation of Perl's -F parameter, and honestly I don't understand why your hosting provider would require it.

If you look at my site there are scripts downloadable for free including a basic form mailer

Does your hosting provider give any sample scripts for you that can be run as copy & paste? Maybe that would help clear things up.
