How to Get a Personal Loan - Credit History

Expert: kkemper - 10/18/2005

Question
I dunno if you are the right person to ask.... In April, my credit rating was 620. In Aug it was 585. Today. Exp and Exf are right around 460 while Transunion is 593. Can you give me an explaniation of this or perhaps how to go about correcting this? The credit report from aug and today are the same, expect for inquires for a home loan (under 5). ON Thursday, 10/13, Eqifax had 495. Today 10/18, it is 463

Answer
there is no sense to the 3 bureaus.  I had the same
results.
-----------------------------------
why was your score so low in the first place?
a bankruptcy?
slow payments on accounts?

we all supposedly start with 700-850 and the scores
drop for dif reasons; too much credit, slow pays, etc
