Question I want to get a loan for a keyboard that coast about $3500.00
I have a full time job and one car loan of about $14,000. I do not have any credit cards but I have never missed bill on anything. Is there any reason why I cant get this loan?
Answer Loans of this type are typically made through a local credit company, and often are similar to a credit card loan. To most people who are not educated in, or do not understand a music enthusiast passion, a $3,500 keyboard seems like a lot of money for something they would believe could be bought at a local music store for $100-$200. I would recommend you talk to your bank, and see if you can refinance your car, and add the keyboard loan to that balance- or possibly offer to put down $500 and give them additional collateral.
Lastly, if the place you are looking to purchase this keyboard from does not have/offer financing, I recommend you try a local finance company such as Citifinancial, or American General.
Good luck, and thanks for being one of the people who bring music to the world!
