Beware Panamericano Buses Copacabana - La Paz

22 September 2013, 17:26

We used Panamericano to get from Puno to Copacabana however from Copacabana to La Paz was a different story. They held us away from the bus stop until after the allotted departure time and then put us on a local bus instead (and ran off). I wouldn't have minded too much but seeing as we'd paid for a tourist bus I didn't expect to be put on a local one that stopped every 5 minutes and smelt

Information on destinations in Peru like Machu Picchu, Cusco, lake Titicaca, Arequipa, Paracas, etc.; and activities like the Inca Trail, the Salkantay trek, the Colca Canyon trek, etc.

I'm a tour guide in Peru and I know very well the main tourist destinations like Machu Picchu, the Inca trail, Cusco, lake Titicaca, the Nazca lines, etc. I love outdoors and I have hiked many times the Inca trail and the Colca canyon (the 2nd deepest canyon in the world). I also know the best places to go like restaurants, coffee shops, bars, pubs, and nightclubs in many cities of Peru.
