Question I keep finding these small worm like things in my babies crib >we have found six on different occasions. They look like tiny caterpillars they have a head and a little fuzz I think there brownish with a orange tint. Do you know what they are? We built a new house this year and we live in central Massachusetts. Help what shoud we do ? Why would they only be in the babys crib?
thank you
missy
Answer Hi Melissa. the only thing I can think of is maybe carpet beetle larvae. They look kind of like you are describing. Can you look them up and see if the picture matches? They are in most everyone's house. They eat dead insects on windowsills, etc. They won't hurt the baby or anyone if that's what it is. They would just crawl around looking for food. Check the windowsills in that room and see if there are dead insects on it and clean them up. I can't explain why they'd only be in the babies crib. Let me know if you think this is the culprit. Jule
